Hallo,
ich wollte mal ein paar kontroverse Fragen zur Diskussion stellen:
1. Ist das Forum tot?
Die Frage mag den einen oder anderen nicht überraschen. Man schaue sich nur ein paar Infos an: Nur 85 registrierte Mitglieder (Stand: 30.01.2019, sicher einige Bots darunter, seit langer Zeit kaum größere Veränderungen). Kaum neue Beiträge (wenn, dann vor allem Infos aus dem polnischen Forum). Viele Threads haben seit langer Zeit keinen neuen Content / Inhalte von den Mitgliedern bekommen. Kaum Beteiligung von vielen Mitgliedern (es sind immer dieselben wenigen Leute, die etwas schreiben oder antworten). Oft wird (wie von mir) auch das polnische / englisch-polnische Forum von Wargamer stärker benutzt.
2. Ist BFS in Deutschland tot?
Gut, diese Frage ist auf jeden Fall kontrovers, aber: Außer in Hannover hat sich BFS in Deutschland nicht durchgesetzt. Das letzte Turnier in Hannover musste leider auch abgesagt werden. Andernorts finden gar keine Turniere statt. Zwar ist BFS jedes Jahr auf der Tactica, aber einen richtigen Push hat das noch nicht gezeigt.
Vielleicht spielen ja viele in ihren Kämmerlein mit einem Freund und das war's, aber das wäre schade. Zudem kann man dann nicht als Multiplikator dienen (ich weiß, blödes Wort aus der Pädagogik).
Interessant wäre einpaar Kenndaten von Wargamer und Frontlinegames zu haben, wieviel hier in Deutschland verkauft wird.
3. Kann man BFS retten / populärer machen?
Ich habe in meinem Bekanntenkreis stark Werbung gemacht, aber der Funke ist bei keinem übergesprungen. Die in der Nähe vorhandenen Tabletop-Clubs setzen mehr auf andere Systeme (hoch aktuell z.B. Frostgrave) und jemanden zu einem neuen (und seien wir ehrlich sehr schwerem und einsteigerfeindlichem) Spiel wie BFS zu bekommen, ist sehr sehr schwierig.
4. Ist es nur bei BFS so?
Es ist schwierig zu sagen. Einige System wie das oben erwähnte Frostgrave sind in aller Munde und werden von vielen gespielt, andere Systeme führen aber wie BFS ein Nischendasein. Tabeltop ist kein Massenmarkt. Wie sagt man in der Wirtschaft: Nur weil ein neuer Laden aufmacht, verdienen nicht alle mehr, sondern der bisherige Umsatz aller gleichen Läden wird nur umverteilt. Gibt es zu viele gute Alternativen zu BFS???
Auf der anderen Seite: Seht euch die Spiel in Essen oder die Tactica in Hamburg an. Jedes Jahr Zuwächse im Tabletop-Bereich! Warum kommt das BFS nicht zu Gute?
5. Ist es die Herkunft?
Gut, also das ist jetzt SEHR SEHR weit hergeholt, aber: BFS ist ein polnisches Spiel, das vor allem in Polen beworben wird (mit vielen aktiven Spielern und eigenen Ligen, siehe Wargamer-Forum!) In Deutschland ist es für ein 15mm (schon das ist Nische!), osteuropäisches Tabletopspiel (trotz der Fraktionen HRR und BRA) bestimmt nicht ganz so leicht in der Masse anzukommen.
Zumindest bei meinen Bekannten war das so. "Ein polnisches Tabletop, nee lass mal."
6. Sind wir es? Können nur bestimmte Leute Tabletop gut finden? Schrecken wir andere ab?
Tabletopspieler sind Nerds (schlagt micht, wenn ihr es anders seht, aber wir sind alle schon sehr speziell in unserer Art. Und unser Hobby erst recht!) Mal mit einem Freund, der Tabletops nicht kennt, "kurz" eine Runde Tabletop spielen iss nicht. Und um sich in die Thematik zu vertiefen und zu verbeißen, muss man das ganze echt mögen. (Zwar bewundern alle immer meine Armee, wenn sie zu Besuch sind, aber noch nie hat jemand dadurch auch mit Tabletop anfangen wollen, trotz Einladung meinerseits!)
Muss man also ein Nerd sein? Gibt es genug von uns?
Zudem es immer mehr den Anschein hat, dass die Tabletop-Foren (nicht dieses!) und Tabletop-Spieler (nicht die Leute hier!) toxischer werden, zumindest meine Erfahrungen aus anderen Foren. So sind viele Tabletopspieler (nicht die Leute hier!) zu unhöflich anderen gegenüber und stoßen so viele ab von einem Einstieg in das Hobby. (siehe auch Youtube-Folgen von DICED zu diesem Thema.)
Bitte versteht mich nicht falsch. Ich bin begeisterter Fan von BFS und die Leute hier im Forum waren immer nett und zuvorkommend zu mir. Ich möchte NIEMANDEN mit diesen Fragen angreifen, provozieren oder verärgern. Ich mache mir nur Gedanken und vielleicht auch Sorgen um unser Hobby und unser Spielsystem BFS.

Tabletop players are nerds (beat me, if you see it differently, but we are all very special in our way. And our hobby even more!)
